Adobe Connect: Upgrade to 9.7

Adobe Connect is scheduled to update to 9.7 for Clarkson users on 10/22/2017.  

This update introduces a new Adobe Connect application to join meetings. The Adobe Connect application replaces the Adobe Connect Add-in (version 9.x). 

You are prompted to install the new Adobe Connect application in the following scenarios:

• You host or join a 9.x meeting for the first time with an earlier version of the Adobe Connect add-in.
• You share your screen or PowerPoint (PPTX format) files and do not have Adobe Connect application installed.

While a new independent application is an option for all users, those users who have the Adobe Flash Player fully enabled in their browser can continue to access Adobe Connect without any downloads.

The Adobe Connect meeting application is required to join, present or host a meeting if you do not have Adobe Flash Player installed or to share your screen in an Adobe Connect meeting. The application can be installed in two ways:

• It can be automatically installed during a meeting via lightning download (you will be prompted to accept the download upon attempting to screen share or use functionality that requires the application). This is the most common way to install the application. 

        OR

• It can be installed before your meeting, using the installers below.
