This tutorial will show you how to configure the Cisco VPN on your iPhone or iPad.

1. Touch Settings > General > VPN. Leave the VPN toggle switch "off" for now, and choose "Add VPN Configuration..."

2. Choose the "IPSec" tab in the "Add Configuration" window and enter the following information:

 

Description: Clarkson

Server: cuvpn.clarkson.edu

Account: Your Clarkson AD username

Password: Your Clarkson AD password

Use Certificate: Leave in the off position

Group Name: clarkson (please note this must be all lowercase)

Secret: clarkson (please note this must be all lowercase)

Proxy: Leave in the off position

3. Tap "Save" and it will bring you back to the main VPN screen. Toggle the switch next to "VPN" to the "on" position and you will be prompted to enter your Clarkson AD username and password.

4. Once you have entered your Clarkson AD username and password, the VPN screen will now show you as connected. You will also see a VPN icon in the upper right hand corner. To ensure that the VPN connection is working correctly, you may navigate to isthevpnworking.clarkson.edu.

When you are finished using the VPN you can toggle the switch next to VPN back to "off". To connect in the future simply go to Settings > General > VPN and toggle the switch back to 'on'.
