This is a simple How-To for creating lists for newsletters and subscribers on the announcements.clarkson.edu site

Step-by-step guide

After logging in to WordPress: announcements.clarkson.edu/wp-admin

  1. In the newsletter dashboard, hover over the "Lists" to get the dropdown menu and choose the "lists" option highlighted in the image below.
  2. Name your lists appropriately, making it clear and concise.
    1. Save after naming.
  3. After creating the list, you can add subscribers to it by doing the following:
    1. in the newsletter dashboard, hover over the "subscribers" to get the dropdown and choose the "Maintenance" link. 
      IMPORTANT - THIS IS A BULK ACTION. THIS WILL AFFECT ALL SUBSCRIBERS OR WHOLE LIST OF SUBSCRIBERS.

    2. option 1: Choose a list and activate ALL SUBSCRIBERS to that list
      option 2: Change all subscribers in a list to a different list
      option 3: Add subscribers without a list to the selected list 

      Please choose your options carefully as this will affect what newsletters subscribers will receive.
