This tutorial will go through how to create and then share a OneNote Notebook via link. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to Office.com
  2. Click on "Sign in"
  3. Sign in with Microsoft account
  4. Under "Apps", click on the "OneDrive" app
  5. Click "+New" → Click "OneNote Notebook"
  6. Pop-up window will appear to name the new notebook
  7. Click "Create"
  8. New window or tab will appear
  9. Click on "Share" and a pop-up will appear
  10. Click on the dropdown arrow next to the "Anyone with the link can view and edit" to select sharing settings
    1. To share notebook on Moodle, please choose the "Anyone" setting
    2. Allowing "Editing" to the notebook is optional.
    3. An expiration date to stop sharing, can be set for the notebook. (Optional)
  11. Once sharing settings are selected, click "Apply" 
  12. Click on "Copy Link", a shareable link will be created
  13. Click "Copy"
  14. Paste the link to a preferred platform
    1. Places the link could be posted/shared to:
      1. Moodle
      2. Email
